Some July Updates

Summer is here and in full force at the Robinson house. That means no one gets a bath, as they get in the pool everyday. So the outdoor shower is used to wash hair only- forget about soap, chlorine is just as good right?

I've got the kiddos enrolled in every possible summer activity at the YMCA that I could find. This includes soccer, jump rope, theater arts, cheerleading, Tball, wide world of sports and a few more. I wanted to keep them busy and also help save Rebecca's sanity!

Overheard at the Robinson house:

Jesse: "No Kaylee, I am not going to help you look for your mermaid panties. We are going to soccer practice and no one cares what your little panties look like."

Some updates on sweet baby Jude. He is having a word explosion. However, he calls Kaylee "Gurt." Not sure why.  He is on track to be able to swim all the way across the pool by the end of the summer! Its quite exciting to watch.

Whoo hoo! Our "wedding" pix just arrived!

If any of you hate your original wedding pix like I did, then suck it up and call Sara Moon and get them redone! She is an artist and an inspiration.  It's NEVER TOO LATE!  And now our kids will have wedding pictures of their parents that are classy and artistic.

I am so excited about these!

I'll post more later, gotta go to work!!

PS- Thanks to Laura for the awesome job on my hair and makeup!!  She is a bona-fide badass with a curling iron and a makeup brush!!!!!

Oh my poor little blog how I have neglected you...

... since I got another creative outlet. I promise I will be better to you after my girls trip this weekend. But for now, I am going to tube down the Guadalupe with a beer in each hand for the next two days straight.  I will be better to you when I return.

xoxoxo- Tracy

PS- Got the funniest email : "I have checked your blog for a while now just checking for updates. Everytime I look at I read the comment you made about how your parents must have felt with Abraham Lincoln died. I don't get it. Your parents were not alive when he died. I keep thinking I missed the joke or something. Please help me!!!!"

I am making fun of my parents for being OLD FARTS. Guess it wasn't that funny, LOL!

These conversations actually happened.... all in one night

Tracy: (while checking facebook). "Think we need to feed the kids? It's 6:30"
Jesse: "I dont give a rats ass what those kids eat. All they want is waffles anyway."

Parents of the year anyone?

Emily: "Mommy. Can I drink this?" (an Ensure)
Tracy: "No, don't you remember what happened last time you snuck one of those? You threw it all up."
Emily: "UHHHH. BUT MOM! PUH-LEEZE"
Tracy: "No Emily you will throw up"
Emily: "BUT ! BUT! I want it!!!"
Tracy: "Emily! It will make you sick. You will throw it up!"
Emily: "But Mom! I want to throw up!
Tracy: "Dont be ridiculous. You do not want to throw up."
Emily: "YES I DO! PULEEZE!"
Tracy: "NO! Quit bugging me!"
Emily: "UH! UH! I will throw up in the toilet! I want to throw up!"
Tracy: "Emily! That's enOUGH!"
Emily: "WAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! I WANT TO THROW UP!!!!!! WAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!"

I have so much to blog about, Jude's bday party, the start of summer... and don't have time, as evidenced by the fact that I sent Jesse to the YMCA this morning with the wrong kid dressed out for T-Ball and one right handed glove for my leftie (actually my one of THREE lefties). WAH!

Oh these pix are funny- Emily's last day of school... it was "crazy day." Her outfit wasn't much of a stretch from a normal day...

Oh how I love summer

... digging around for earthworms in a leotard

.... playing in the sprinklers (why do my girls always wear suits either too big/too small where their chee-chees show?)
...eating fritos in the pool (shhhh, don't tell Jesse, he'll have a conniption fit I let Jude eat in the pool. He's all anal about keeping the water clean for some reason ;)). There's that famous pouty lip...
